Welcome to my latest collection of photography that I thought was ready to show the world. After browsing through my various work, I hope I find you in agreement.
I'm an eastern North Carolina native that was transplanted to southwest Ohio nearly a decade ago. I've taken numerous photos over the years across a decent chunk of the lands between the North Carolina coast and the fields of Indiana. Many of these images remain buried on one of my hard drives or on a backup, somewhere. You've no doubt seen or been in a few of them over the years. Recently, I was given a reason to dive back into the hobby. This time, however, I started with better equipment. Most of the photos here were taken with a Canon DSLR, most likely the Canon EOS 80D. Some, like the above photo of yours truly, have been taken with a recent model iPhone camera. You'll find the occasional image that I've decided to share that was either taken with an older phone or one of a handful of other Canon cameras. Much of the software I use, I've had various versions of over the years. Much of it is familiar, though I'm certainly no expert.
It's my new "old" habit. It will not be perfect. At best, sometimes, it will be perfectly imperfect. Every press of the shutter button is a learning experience. Feel free to point out a mistake I've missed or your tips for a better photo. If you need a photo or three taken and don't mind a hobbyist, ask away. All comments and questions are welcome.
Yes. I know I need to take a better portrait of myself, though I do like how my post-processing came out on this one.
Thank you,
Robert Tucker
